Its pedagogy is amazing, the way it constantly spirals back to previous lessons while adding new things, while forcing you to speak and listen rather than read. Unfortunately it tops out in 30 days, though I find I have to review after 10 lessons or so, so it will take at least double that time. Are there programs for people who don’t want to learn the alphabet but keep advancing their skills? I find I learned more in 10 lessons than I did for months with other programs, because Pimsleur forces you to speak and answer complete sentences that keep changing within each lesson.
