“How to speak German” books in addition to the German 1 thru 5 Pimsleur Course. The Pimsleur Course is excellent when accompanied with any “How to speak *** manual that explains the basics of the language. Once the basics are learned, the Pimsleur method becomes a very effective method to learn and remember. For vocabulary building and retaining, I would like to see Pimsleur extended their course beyond the 5 units.
